At the beginning of July, Auxergo, University of Cambridge, Beihang University, the Shenzhen government, and the Beijing government signed an agreement committing to the building of a Chinese human factors institute. The head office will be established in Beijing, with sub-offices built in Shenzhen, China and Cambridge in the UK. The institute’s services will cover human factors over a wide range of industries including healthcare, transport, aerospace, and manufacturing. Meanwhile, usability labs for these areas will be built, one of which will be simulated surgery lab to provide a real surgery use environment for human factors testing. As the initiator, Auxergo is very proud of the progress we have made, and we will continue to work hard to secure the fundamentals by the end of 2019.
